Relational Work with Couples
Navigating relationships can sometimes feel like a complex journey, but they also hold immense potential for healing and providing a safe haven. Through the EFT model, I assist couples in navigating the challenges that have left them feeling stuck, helping them rediscover the path to genuine connection.
I've had the privilege of working with couples facing a variety of issues, from dealing with depression and anxiety stemming from trauma to managing the impact of medical illnesses and grappling with forgiveness dilemmas. Couples of all backgrounds and orientations can benefit from couples therapy.
In particular, I enjoy working with queer couples, those in ethically non-monogamous relationships, and individuals who fall anywhere in between. Your unique journey matters, and I'm here to provide a warm and supportive space for you and your partner(s) to thrive and grow.
Relational Work with Families
Every family is as unique as the individuals within it, shaped by their life experiences and circumstances. I employ Emotion Focused Family Therapy as a guiding approach for promoting healing within families.
As your therapist, my aim is to help your family forge new pathways characterized by increased parental availability, responsiveness, and a language that conveys a deep desire for connection. Together, we'll navigate the terrain of developmental changes and life's challenges.
During our family sessions, we'll pay close attention to any obstacles that may be hindering parental caregiving responses. We'll also work to understand your child or adolescent's behavior through the lens of their attachment needs and fears.
Ultimately, my goal is to provide your family with the tools and insights needed to embark on a journey of healing. This involves restoring bonds, fostering self-awareness, and enhancing emotional regulation between parents and children.
